I have heard nothing but bad reviews about the reproduction air grabber. I have no knowledge of Roseville Moparts. Save your receipts.

Thanks Droptop, I just came across them and hasn't seen any comments on our forum. Does paying$400 for a really rough one seem excessive, when you know it will be another $4-600 to get it gone over? Thanks for tutor input..

Some where here they have a person they send them to and have stated they look as good as new. I would go with original over reproduced any day.

Thank you Russ. Yes. I have that reference point from past discussions. I'll keep looking, they are hard to come by. It seems they are going for half a grand, even if they are junk.

Cost for part's are so high even for used. Then if you get used it need's to be returned to like new is a plus cost to you. Good luck with the car and keep us posted on the progress. :thumbsup2:

Yes, I sure will. Waiting for some warmer weather in Iowa so I can get back to work on it.

you wont be disappointed he is real good .
he will x-ray it first to find all the cracks then soda blast it then repair any damage .
if you go on his face book you will see what mine looked like when i sent it to him and step by step to repair it .

What doesn’t fit on the reproduction units? I’m think about put an Airgrabber on my 69 and want to make sure I understand what I’m getting into.

I got a original part from Tony's Mopar. It wasn't perfect, was usable as is,car show 2.jpg but I don't have a show car either. My experience with the re-pop was the same as Ricks.

I was going to try a repro unit, but finding you can't get one anywhere, all are on backorder and have been for almost a year. I've heard there are general fit issues and quality with the repro items. Good luck with your search.

You know it might be worth calling Stephens in Alabama. They have a lot of parts on the shelf they have taken off cars. One of the biggest Mopar salvage yards.

Does anyone know how common and on what the Orange Air Grabber Box was installed on?
