4 speed w/ Factory AC. What have we got here?

perfect example:
the company the wife's car is financed with...been making reagular payments,on time, for a year. had three payments left. got a letter a couple weeks ago from a collections co. called to see what this was for. the car accout. I asked why? we;ve been making on time payments, almost done. well, after almost an hour on the phone, repeating my life story to every smuck I talked to, FINALLY get a supervisor to tell me that GMAC did a computer upgrade, that mistakenly flagged a BUNCH of PAYING accouts as nonpaying. so I get a settlement offer from the collections co, if I make two larger payments this month, they'll knock off $500, ad the car will be paid off two months early. make the first payment, then GMAC relized their mistake, and pulled the accounts back out of collections and send them back to the finance cos. but the accounts aren't showing in the finance cos computers yet. if GMAC had just let things be, they woulda had their money and the car would be paid off by now.... :brickwall:

perfect example:

Another example: I made the last payment on the wifes minivan. Then I wait and wait for the title. About a month later I called the bank "what gives" wheres my title? The man say you owe $13.00 more in addtional interest. I say what, yes every month that the payment is not in by the first, addtional interest is added. I asked if I paid before the first was intrest deducted? No!.

So I dug out the contract and called the gentleman back: The contract states I will make 36 payments of $$$ and a late fee of $$$ will be added if the payment is over ten days late. Says nothing about added interest and I was never late over ten days, so I guess I will see you in court! The title arrived two days later!

Cable co. wanted to jack us for 16 buck for HBO that we never watch or wanted or discussed with them.

Also hit us for 20 bucks to set things up, on top on 25 bucks that we agreed was fair for the deal.

Took 15 miutes to get that crap taken off.

We are screwed as a nation. Finished. Done. They only do that because I'd say 1 in 3 will pay it and roll on.

you were right. called the fianance co yesterday...still not in their computer. so I told the lady, "I'm not trying to be a smartass, but I'm tired of beating my head on the floor about this. whenever you people decide you want you're money, give me a call"
