Hey everyone I've looked all over and I couldn't find a thread on how or if they did an electronic conversation from vacuum because of all the actuators that go bad so I figured I'll post some pics on what I did.. I used the stock location for the actuator and switch.
Here ya go.
The 2" actuator is from Windy Nation water proof for outdoor use..
The switch is IndusTec 10 AMP DC Motor Polarity - Reversing Maintained Toggle Switch Wired 12V also I put a toggle switch extension "RED" I cut the extension down a 1/4"

Maybe a plastic shield of some sort. I have made some thing's with fiberglass made simple mold with card board then glassed it. Use filler to smooth out the out side and painted it. Just two cent's. But in the end it work's and don't look bad at all.

Cool that you have done that. If it were mine I would try to run the unsightly wire inside and down that hood brace you have it zip tied too. Maybe with a nice connector at each end should you have to service the car and remove the hood or airgrabber or whatever, you could just then unplug it.

Thanks for your input but no zip ties were used only stock plastic hose loops n connectors under dash for removal

Forgive me, I thought your plastic hose loops were zip ties. Regardless, it would maybe look soooo clean if the thick wire wrap was inside the hood instead of out. Just me. You’ve already achieved 110% more than I could. :).

Great info! I am adding an air grabber to my car but since it didn`t come with one I don`t want to add any holes in the firewall in case I ever want to back to the stock hood so this is something I`ve thought about doing.
