I am getting ready to start restoring my 1969 roadrunner and it needs all new floors pans. I have found a few brands that make them. I'm looking at both the AMD and Sherman. The Sherman ones are a bit cheaper. Does anybody know of there is a big difference between them?

I heard Sherman the metal is thinner but that was an old thread. Not sure if it's still that way

I'm in the middle of replacing the floors on my 69 and went with AMD. I've had some fitment issues with some of the other body panels from AMD that had to be massaged a bit to get them right, but the floor pans were pretty much spot on. I would recommend AMD. Good luck with your project.

Thank you all so much for the advice. I went ahead and ordered AMD. My car is rough but hopefully I can bring it back to life

Looks like you got some work to do. Did you go with the full piece that includes the tunnel or the half pans? It's going to look really nice when your done.

I did the full piece. I got the front section, rear seat area, and the trunk. The body of the car is in good shape. Just the floors aren't

Look forward to your progress! I was pretty happy with the way my full front floor pan fit just had to suck it down over the center hump and a few tweaks around the edges.

I got a homemade one for free off Cags List years ago and modified it to fit my road runner, just have a 24 x 24 garage though.
