Up for Bidding is a really neat and rare 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. The one is originally a RM21 post car 383 automatic on the column,R6 red with V02 Two Tone Painted White Roof, with White interior and White upper door frames and Road Runner décor group A87.It was raced in the 80's/90's, been off the road and stored inside a garage since the mid 90's.Ok,So the number 3 and 4 pictures are what it looked like when we got the car, also to show we are hiding nothing. We sprayed it Red and White with the hood Black out treatment to show what the car will look like when put back to original. The Car needs a total restoration, but what a cool one to do. The 383/727 are both 1970 pieces we don't know the condition, they were in the car when we got it, except that the engine does not turn, the 8-3/4 rear end is in the car with open gears and the 11 inch Drums in the rear. The FENDER TAG IS INTACT and matches all body numbers and VIN and it has a CLEAR Mo. TITLE. The floors and frame rails in the car are SOLID(except a 3 inch spot on the inside of left rear rail see pic),trunk floor looks to have no rot, but has had a hole cut in it when fuel cell was installed(may be able to patch),we have included a used stock fuel tank. The Road Runner has disc brakes installed, its gonna need fenders quarters, however the hood and trunk lid are decent and may be useable along with the doors. The car is structurally solid though, so open up the AMD Catalog and order up the body panels, they are all reproduced now. Car has a factory set of b body upper and lower rear seats that need redone. All glass is in car, except it needs a windshield. Has all trim except ws lower pieces. Front sway bar is in trunk. The wheels and tires that are on the car do NOT go with the car, it will have 14 inch steel wheels with tires will hold air for driving it on and off the trailer/hauler.
It rolls good and we will help with loading the car. The car is a project that is waiting to be redone. Good luck and have fun bidding.
