Nice looking ride. The seller should provide more info on that "period correct" motor. I would want to know exact details on that if i was a buyer. The column shift AT is a buzz kill ugh

This car was on Bring a Trailer in December 2022. Bids went to $87,000 and the car did not sell. Apparently it was a 4-speed manual car, but the owner converted it to an automatic.

This was one of the comments: "So in pic 209 the block casting date looks like April 6, 1967 so it’s obviously not a six-pack engine from MaMopar…"

Lots and lots of comments on BAT about the car from previous owners.

I'm just saying what previous owners said about the car on BAT. Perhaps he wanted it back to the fender tag's specs.

"My story is I wanted an automatic A12 to take to the Carlisle Mopar 50th anniversary of the 1969 model year. After removing the 4 speed parts, and installing a factory floor section to replace the 4 speed hump, a correct #093 from a 69 Superbee was rebuilt with all high quality parts and correct shifter linkages. The 4 speed steering column was replaced for a column shifter and completely restored with a NOS turn signal switch, wiring and bearing etc. Once everything was assembled and tested, the car headed to Carlisle."

I would have grabbed the $87k or maybe try for $90k from the high bidder. Now it’s $103k and i doubt it goes there. That column shift auto is a $20k ding imo

Still though, a pretty bird. A B7 A12 w/white top is a cool ride.

It’s a flip that went awry. Bought in a high market and there is no guarantee a car is worth more than you paid within a year. Should be driven and enjoyed and that should be enough. Not this way where the car doesn’t end up being enjoyed and is shuffled from garage to garage without a true enthusiast owner.
