No I have been busy at work and with the race car. I ordered all new parts but maybe tomorrow evening I'm gonna get back on it. Ordered a new engine bay wiring harness from Year One that's on backorder. I will have it going Saturday one way or another. I'm gonna re-wire this thing over the winter.So Russ. have you tracked down the problem. Just out of thinking have you checked the ignition switch out of every thing Or have you gone to the bulk head connector and checked all connection's. Sorry for the bad luck. Hope your getting close to having it fixed. Had my old start run relay quit. Figured I had replaced every thing else on this car and had a new one in the box. Took a jumper wire and jumped the relay. The car started so put the new on and no more problem's.
Usually a intermittent coil acts up after it gets hot. The windings separate. The blue box will operate at a higher RPM range than the orange one. I would suspect the ECM. I would patch that in first with a good ground. I had one that would work for days then just quit. I chased my tail with the wiring and grounds for weeks and it was the orange box. Hope it works for you.
