Thanks guys, that's what I suspected but needed confirmation. I may keep the shift lever I have as it may be a bit easier to reach (it's taller than the round rod lever) but I'll have to figure something out for a shifter boot that will mount as original but fit the flat bar shift lever.
I've...
Hi all, I'm starting to go through the boxes of parts that are my Roadrunner. I pulled out the Hurst Competition Plus shifter and what appears to be the original brown plastic shifter ball. Problem is, the threads are different. Shifter handle is threaded 3/8 x 16, and the ball is 3/8 x 24. The...
Sweet! Another F-Class shooter! I shoot F-Open with a Surgeon action, Krieger Barrel, McMillan Stock, etc. in .300 Win Mag.
These pic's were taken at the 2013 F-Class World championships in Raton, NM
Thanks guys. I've had full poly bushings in a Jeep CJ-7 I rebuilt from the ground up, put them in my old Ramcharger, my Duster Drag car had them, and in the SS leaf springs in my 69 Dart. I've never had a squeak out of them.
If I'm wearing pants I'm carrying. Not out of fear, but out of responsibility to my kids and my loved ones to not only protect them, but for myself to come home safe every day.
If anyone here has fallen into the time trap of Facebook, I'm documenting the whole process here >> https://www.facebook.com/OperationRoadrunner?ref_type=bookmark
Nothing to be sorry about. We grew apart as husband and wife, but are actually better friends now than we ever were. It was actually a great move for both of us. It's kind of funny actually how some divorced couples are actually upset that we get along so well. ;)
Hi all, just joined with a new project. A 69 Road Runner that was a barn find a couple decades ago and has passed hands a couple times since then. The car is currently in boxes, hanging on garage walls, and on a rotisserie. Current owner is going to re-vapor blast the patina of rust off, finish...
Awesome, thanks! That kit had everything but the pitman arm, but they carry that too! I was hoping to get everything from one place instead of sourcing from 10 different companies. Parts ordered, thanks again!
Hi all, I just bought a 69 Road Runner "kit" (it's in pieces). Body is on a rotisserie now getting primed and the underside and jams painted. Once that is done I need to put the K-Member and suspension back on so I can bring it home as a roller. All of the suspension parts are in my garage and...
Greetings. Long time MoPar enthusiast. Used to street race a 69 Dart GT with a 400" B motor, and later NHRA bracket raced a 74 Plymouth Duster with a 440" . Got out of cars shortly before getting married. Now (shortly after getting divorced) I bought a 69 Road Runner project! Also and...
