Sorry, I just saw this. I'm at 1065 Carriage Way over by the Village Park. You were a block from my house! There is another 69RR in Palmyra. Kind of a lime green with a black Six Barrel hood under a tan tent garage on Main Street right by the Railroad tracks. Haven't stopped over to see him yet.
I went out to look at mine. I put clips where there were holes and this is what I have (sorry for the potato quality pictures, just snapped them with my phone:
Across the top: 5 clips. Relatively evenly spaced, but the center clip is offset to the right of center by about 1". There is another...
All of the comments on the color are cool! Before it has color on it I would try to explain to people what the color was. They were all like "So, you're painting it brown?" They had no idea what this color is. It is so stunning, probably the most underrated color in the 69 line up. There are no...
AMD all the way. Front fenders were a direct bolt up, no issues at all. Rear quarters took a little trimming to fit on the bottom in front of the wheel openings, but again, very good fit.
Russ69Runner: Could you post he measurements for the locations of the rear window trim clips? I was putting mine on today and realized the body guy filled in the holes down the sides and possibly the bottom section near the corners. I've got way more clips/screws in my kit than I have holes for...
Hey, sorry for abandoning this post guys! Current location is home with all sheet metal and paint done. Now working on interior, dash, glass, etc. Building a motor over the winter, and hopefully dropping it in in the spring.
69HemiBeep: The previous owner was trying to "patch it up" and shot...
WTB Complete and functioning window regulator including the big mounting nuts for the drivers side rear window for my 69 RR hardtop (duh). OK if it needs rollers as I'm buying a roller kit anyways. My drivers side rear regulator is missing pieces (basket case rebuilds are a BLAST!).
Let me know...
Mine was F-ed up the same way from the previous body hack that worked on the car. New AMD floor pan correctly located where the seat belt holes go in the inner rockers.
If you need some detailed pictures my cars sheet metal is done and there is no interior in it yet. Send me an example pic of what you want and I can duplicate it.
Finally starting to get some little stuff put on the roadrunner!
First question: Did I install these adjuster nuts from the wrong side? It made sense to pull them through from the back, but now that I've seen some fuzzy pictures, I think they might push in from the front.
Second: Locations...
My 69 Dart was my first experience with lefties. When the impact broke 3 studs off, I looked at them and said "What's this "L" for?". LOL! I was 17 and didn't know.
Good to know it can be done. I want to get the dash bolted into my car so I can put the glass in before storage this winter. But I'm nowhere near ready (financially or parts in hand) to assemble the dash first.
Well, as you all know, 3 months means 6 and 6 months means 10 when it comes to body guys. But the wait is paying off! The final sheet metal is getting color this week! Should be coming home October 1st! It has to, a 69 Super Bee is being delivered to his shop that day and he only has room for...
