If you are looking for a correct carb (seems like you may be) try to find a date correct one as a bonus.
In case you were unaware they were date coded.
I run Q jets but have a correct stashed for someday maybe.
Just my thing.
An Edelbrock would be good too.
If everything is reasonable good nothing leaks.
But none of them hold up especially well to pressure from a garden hose.
Using a spray and not a jet stream is best
They just aren't made like new cars in that regard.
