The correct washer can be found at Year One, and they're not cheap. https://www.yearone.com/SearchResults/Chrysler-B-Body/shock%20washer

    Frame Connectors

The US Car Tool frame connectors are the way to go. You will need to make some modifications to a few lines, which you may be replacing anyway. Here are some pics of mine that were welded in during the rotisserie restoration, then the modifications that were made in final assembly.

    Vent Windows and Door Glass

It was a pain just taking the glass out of my convertible. I paid to have mine put back in and it wasn't cheap.

    Restoring uncles 69 Convertible

    There were no 440 Roadrunner convertibles in 69. They were all 383's with the exception of the 10 Hemi cars. R = Plymouth intermediate chassis (Satellite/RR/GTX/Belvedere) M = middle price range (Satellite/RR) 2 = 2-door 7 = Convertible H = 335-horse 383 9 = 1969 G = St. Louis Sequence #...

    Project Started 69 Roadrunner

I've seen 4-post lifts between $2-3k depending on where it was built. My buddy has an American one ($3k) and a Chinese one ($2k). He said the big difference is the cheap one wiggles a little when you torque a bolt. Both are safe and lock in. I'll probably grab a cheap one for my new garage...

How many miles have you put on your roadrunners?

I put about 1500 miles on my Roadrunner in the month of September.:beep:

    Restoring uncles 69 Convertible

Dante DiCarlo (Dante's Mopar Parts) has them for about $120 if I recall correctly. They're heavy duty, with spikes on the front set to keep them down. The rear set slides around a bit, but they look nice too.

    Hood Stripe - Should I or Shouldn't I?

The organisol is difficult to keep clean. You don't want to wax it, or even dry it for that matter. The cloth will leave remnants on rough texture.

    Hood Stripe - Should I or Shouldn't I?

That's a tough call. I say if you're restoring it, go for it. If leaving it a survivor, leave them off. My car didn't have them originally, but I took a few (not many) liberties in my restoration. I think they're badass so I went with them. No regrets yet... I prefer a flat paint over...

    Restoring uncles 69 Convertible

Been there....done that. You can modify the AMD inner wheel house to work. I would also use a full quarter. Graft it in at the deck-filler panel. My car is the poster child for AMD. If they made it, I bought it! Can't go wrong with AMD. I just wish they made a deck lid for a 69. US Car...

My Road Runner has been "Toon'd"

Best birthday gift ever! My wife had my Road Runner “Toon’d” by Chris Kuster. Chris was in a tragic swimming accident that left him completely paralyzed. He's a talented artist that does all of his work with his mouth! He’s such an inspirational guy. I’ve wanted my car done since the moment...

    Dave 69 RR Convertible Intro

If you have a shot at getting a 426 Hemi to put in it, you should grab it. The next best thing to numbers matching is a 426. It may actually be worth more with the Hemi, as long as you get the car back to correct as possible in other facets of the restoration. I just finished a full...

    1 Car Show...1 Win!

I went to a Mopar exclusive car show in Toledo, Ohio today. It was at Grogan's Towne for the 27th annual Mopar Blast. The event was organized by a local Chrysler owners group. There were over 150 Mopars at the event. My car was entered into the 1960-69 Modified Car class. Based on the...
