Bad luck Jerry. Especially after this long time of trying to buy the 440 from the Senior MoPar man.

I had 1/4 of a inch room between valve cover and the bulge on the shock tower. That is until I drove the car and the paint from innerfender was on the valve cover. Even with the Schumacher spool mounts.

But the Super Bird was a Road Runner option and they all had vinyl tops. Or am I wrong.

Thanks 69 . Wanted to do this for about 13 year. Did not have the balls until now. Had to make room in the inner fenders anyway. Stage -V valve covers where hitting them on right side.
