    More on the wiper motor

Hey John, I have a 7th spade at the bottom of the switch that is designated resistence cable. In the diagrams it show a wire from this spade to one of the others on the switch but I can't tell which one it goes to

    Vacuum advance

    More on the wiper motor

I've looked through the threads but still can't find an answer to my question so here goes: Somebody swapped a 3 speed motor into the car before I got it but kept the 2 speed switch. The wipers are not working so I'm working on this blind. I picked up a 3 speed switch because I figure that...

    MSD ready to run distributor

Anybody running one of these? What springs are you using for the mechanical advance? I have a basically stock 440 6bbl. Based on MSDs chart, using a light silver and light blue spring would bring all mechanical advance in by a little over 3000 rpm which sounds right but I haven't bought one yet...

    Piman arm

Problem: Pitman arm worn out Solution: replace it but apparently somebody swapped in a large spline steering box from who knows what. I think everything after 73 had the large splines but I'm not sure about that. The old one looks identical to the new except for the splines, I guess what I,m...

    Coyote Duster Decal

That's right. I destroyed the first one attempting to get it on the bottom and it just flat won't fit on a 6 bbl lid. Ma Mopar never put this decal on the 6 bbl, just the hemi. If I had an A12 car, I wouldn't have anything on there but I don't and the Coyote Duster is just way too cool not to...

    6 bbl choke

Heat crossover is blocked and I don't want the starting problems of not having a choke. The choke that's on it is trash, if I replace the choke with a new piece, it will still open up fully, right? I realize it will take longer but as long as it opens, it's better than a manual choke.

replace or not to reolace wire harness

If you already have it all apart and there is any doubt then I would definitely replace if it were me. It'sa way too much work to go back later. I agree with 69hemibeep on year one. They have by far the most accurate harnesses I've seen. Good Luck!

Yeah, I know but I'm just stubborn or dumb enough to have to make it work!

    Coyote Duster Decal

Yours looks good, my problem is that I'm wanting it on a six pack lid and the depressions are closer to the ends than on the Hemi lid. The 6bbl lid doesn't have enough flat surface for it. Even though it isn't original, I want it on there so I may end up triming off as much of the lower clear...

    Coyote Duster Decal

Anybody successfully get one of these stickers on a 6 pack air cleaner lid? I destroyed one last night trying to get it on there. I admit that I tried it dry and that was clearly a mistake. Is dish liquid the best way to do this? The angle on the lid where the decal goes is the problem and even...

    Intake torque?

Ma Mopar says 40 ft lbs on the intake bolts but I'm pretty sure that was for a cast iron intake. Edlebrock recommends 25. I have an original 69 1/2 edlebrock 6 bbl intake. What do you guys recommend on the torque for this piece? I can't find anything from mopar on what they torqued the aluminum...

    Promax (Business must be good!)

Alright, I just got a call back from Promax and the guys told me they had been having phone problems and they just got a bunch of old messages come through. If that's the case, I need to recant my rant. Have to keep it real!

    Promax (Business must be good!)

So....I was going to bite the bullitt and buy the throttle bases from promax. I sent e-mails, made phone calls and left messages telling them what I wanted and I have got no response whatsoever. I finally gave up and decided to put the other bases back on the outboard carbs which sucks because...
