Get yourself a plastic bottle like you'd use for olive oil, fill it with gas and squirt about 1/4 of it into each carb vent to put gas in the float bowls. She's fire up like she was run yesterday.
Pretty sure that it would be a direct bolt up (on the '69 at least). Can't imaging the factory making two different hoods. That said, be sure you are sitting down when you price out the parts.

I might see a half dozen or so Road Runners at a Mopar show, but at any other show or cruise night, I'm usually the only one there. It's kind of nice to stand out from the crowd.
For me it was the '69, and only the '69, because I bought one when I returned home from Viet Nam (the only new car I ever bought). Always had a spot in my heart for it and when I found this one (almost exactly the same as the first one, color, engine, trans, rear end) I had to have it.
