    Stalls out at operating temp

For what little it's worth, I tried that when I could hear fuel percolating after shut down. It didn't help. Temps where running from 200° on the highway to 230° in traffic, but never had it vapor lock. Changing the thermostat from a 190° to a 180° and adding a shroud put an end to all that.

    Which gears are best

    I'm running a 3.23. (4 spd), 15" Cragars 245/60/15 Mostly highway with some interstate. I get 16 MPG on the interstate. 200 RPM increase for every 5 MPH 2000 RPM @ 50 MPH 2200 RPM @ 55 MPH 2400 RPM @ 60 MPH 2600 RPM @ 65 MPH 2800 RPM @ 70 MPH I guess "performance" is subjective, but she's a...

    Washer motor circuit

Not sure what you are working on Mo, but on my '69 Road Runner, key on, with the wipers in the park position, the washer button does not energize the wiper motor. In fact, the pump does not energize either with the wipers in the park position.

    Aftermarket stereos for Road Runners?

Sorry for the delayed response Mo. Lost internet connection for 4 days. Yes, the radio works. I have an aftermarket antenna and adapted the mount so it looks OEM except that I can drop it flush with the fender so I get no reception, thus no interference with the Ipod. Basically, I can use one...

I remember the S&H green stamps, cleaning the windshield, checking the oil and tire pressures, but not the glass bottle.

    Aftermarket stereos for Road Runners?

I think you are misunderstanding. I did not put the radio in the glove box, just the wire with a mini plug on it so I could plug in my Ipod. I have enough cord on it that I can leave the Ipod in the glove box or put it on the console or even the front seat. P.S. Just realized that I posted the...

Cool Mopar related pictures found on the web

Yeah, a bit more like an Ostrich than a Road Runner, but either way, it needs to be finished and mounted. VERY COOL!

    Aftermarket stereos for Road Runners?

I have the factory AM/8 Track radio and had a guy from FBBO wire a plug to it and I ran it into the glove box. Now I can plug in my Ipod and play my music through the radio. It sounds great (when I can hear it over the pipes).

    Rubber Adhesive for trunk rubber

If that 3M black super weatherstrip adhesive is the same stuff I used, remember, it is like contact cement. It holds really well, but you only get one shot at it.

    Idler Arm

I bought my Road Runner just NE of Detroit and drove it home to NW of Chicago (375 miles). Car drove fine and even tracked straight as an arrow at 70 MPH with hands off. Got it home and found the idler arm as loose a a 70 year old whore. I'm still amazed.
