I finally got my car back from the body shop after 2.5 years so have been reassembling and can't figure out where these brackets go. I had them bagged and marked with all the window hardware but can't find a picture of their location. I have the body service manual and it doesn't show in the...
If you go to E-bodys.org and search their library there is a video on mixing your own paint and the spraying technique to shoot it.

Just had my hood and bubble painted. I used the paint that Frank Badleson uses on their restorations. This paint looks great and has a nice texture. Cost around $130 a pint.
earlier couplings may not have the dowel pin to hold the internals but must have a roll pin to fasten the coupler to the steering box. I recommend you pull the complete column, clean and rebuild as needed and rebuild the coupling. There is a good video on columns on E-bodies.org. I always...

Still in the early stage of restoration on my 71 road runner and trying to line up all the paint. The car is original k6 exterior and i am leaning towards K2 vitamin c orange. I need to know if the paint on the door end GT8 will remain the same.
I have two 71 plymouths and I stored the bumper jacks years ago. I like this jack that one of my chevy friends showed me and were available at pick and pull. The jack is easy to use, no fluids to leak and is very stable if you lift at the frame or rear end
I like the comp cams nostalgia for 383/440. Gives the car that muscle car sound at idle and performs well. https://www.compcams.com/nostalgia-plus-233-240-hydraulic-flat-cam-for-chrysler-383-440.html
If you beat on the shaft you will most likely break the shear pins that are intended to allow the shaft to compress in a collision. The only thing that will be holding the pot coupler together is a small roll pin and the cover. I recommend you install this clamp for safety.
Russ the painter is waiting for a paint that is not sold in California. It's the epoxy primer and he wants it to be compatible with the base coat clear coat system he uses.
Well restoration is going slow as the body shop is waiting for a special paint that can't be found in California. The car has been blasted and has now sat for 3 months. Was hoping to get it back before winter so I could assemble it outside where I have more room.
