I always wanted a Roadrunner. Due to my rich friend down the road had one and came by my house every day after school. He had those Crager SS on it and looked to be turning back words as he went by to his house at about 15 MPH. I got a good look under the hood at the 426 with coyote buster air...
After market sheet metal is a challenge for sure. Looks like you have it all well in hand. Some of my parts were either too long or short. Makes a challenge for fitment. Things are looking good keep up the work brother.
Is that the same roof skin. I still don' know where the problem came in on mine. Have since talked to a guy who said he cuts off the window channel then resets them for the back window gap. I did replace the roof with a new one and the quarters also. Good luck your getting it done. :thumbsup2:
Now I am going to rebuild a 489 case and put that in. Don't know what I am getting myself into this time. That is not cheap either. New ring pinion. New bearings. Everything new. I guess Doctor Diff is the best option on the parts. Unless someone else has input.
As you all know had radiator problems. After spending two weeks making the A/C compressor move back so I could get more clearance between the radiator and fan. Put one of those upper hose filters in to keep debris out of the radiator. Was getting fluid on my motor and the engine from a leak...
See the bidding is going on now. Checked what bids are being tossed around and the price is going up. Was this car a late 69 production car. It looks to be a 70's runner after looking at the grill. In the end not a bad price if you figure what it takes to restore these cars. More money. LOL.
Those things are a real Pain in the A. The ones for my front door window tore and were just not quality. Also, can try parts mix. They are all probably made by the same company.
