My 69 Roadrunner has the battery relocated to and I am going to return it to the stock location. I need to buy a Tray and Kit and would like as close to oem as possible. I have seen sevesal different versions and some with an extra brace, and colors of braces. Any picture or help is appreciated...
I Ordered the wheels this week. Cragar s/s direct drill 8x15(4.5 b/s) rear and 6 x 15 front Delivery should be 3-4 weeks. New lug nuts stems and lock have arrived already.
I would like to try a 5 or 5.5 backspace, but I better play it safe and get 4.5 backspace on the rear with an 8 inch wheel. I can prob do a 6 or 7 inch on the front not sure what tire size for the front that i will get yet, I don't want the diameter to look too small.
1969 road runner. What is the best offset on the rear wheels to fit the biggest tire without clearance issues and no rolling or cutting at all, and no moving or trimming the leaf springs. I am thinking a 295 65. 15 , Should I use a 4.25. 4.5. Or 5 inch backspace? Pics appreciated.. also what...
Great hearing it run. 14 years...We took the plugs out oiled the cylinders rolled it over installed the old plugs and as soon as I primed it, it fired right up like it had never sat.
Update: Was going to investigate the turn signal issue, however everything worked this time. I will go through all of the grounds and connections...must have had a bad connection.I removed the plugs and hit the cyl with wd40 then spun it over and installed plugs. I also checked for spark...
