Grew up listening to dad talk about the 69 Roadrunner he purchased new. We tried briefly to find it but could not. He has since passed away and I found his car and bought it from a really cool guy that gave it a rotisserie restoration about the time dad passed away.

COOOOOOOOL car! Wonder why I like it so

Wow 69hemibeep, our cars are almost twins. Mine is a 383 4 speed, AC, no power steering car. According to family recollection, mine had hubcaps that covered the full wheel, and the vents on the hood were not orange. Otherwise it's pretty much correct from when dad bought it on Jan 4, 1969...of course I paid a lot bigger price tag than the $3,420 dad paid in '69.
