I dropped off a new fender bolt kit at the body shop today, along with some other parts (battery tray, splash shields, louvers). I snapped a few more pics. The doors are cut-in and on the car, and hood is primed, and and fenders are painted on the inside and ready for alignment now that they have the correct bolt kit. Check it out! The exterior will be painted next week, then it will be wet-sanded and buffed, then the FLAT black stripes will go on. She'll be home soon!

I am so happy Mike (Dr. Mopar) introduced me to these guys.
Their specialty are early Mustangs and Plymouth 68/69 B Bodies.
They've done about 10 B-Bodies in the last few years, 4 of which have been convertibles.
It takes about a year to get your car into their shop after they meet you and see the car, then 9-12 months to restore it.
I hope my brother (1969X9) gets his newly acquired 69 RR on the waiting list soon.

I am extremely happy with the way things have turned out, even considering the mess I was in after the last restoration. It's all worked out. I can't imagine a better shop I could've taken the car to. There's no way another body shop would've taken the time to clean up that mess.

Looks Great! Pics make it look orange. I had a red car once, and every picture of it looked orange. It must be the lighting.

It's that R4 paint. It looks orange in artificial light and red in natural light. Plymouth did call it Barracuda orange.
