If you painted your car street hemi orange ev2 and you needed to paint a few bolts or brackets. You would normally have to buy factory paint, hardener, reducer and the clear. This would be very expensive to just paint a few bolts or brackets. I have found a much cheaper alternative. Ace Hardware sells orange paint in a spray can that is a very close match to the factory paint. The street hemi engine paint from mopar performance in the spray can is not a close match. I have use this paint from Ace Hardware to paint a few bolts and brackets and then spraying a couple of clear coats also using a spray can and the results turned out pretty good. Much cheaper with the ace hardware paint.

The front of the can says:
Ace Premium Enamel,,,,,, orange gloss.
Number is 17016 and on the bottom of can is says: I17016A00
I think that the color match is very close. Give it a try, the can only cost around $6 dollars.

I have painted the parts for the body. I haven't painted parts on the engine. I don't know if it would stand up to the heat. You could paint a small bolt to test it. But you could also test it by painting the part and baking in your oven at 300 degrees and see how it does. Some guys don't use engine paint, they use factory car paint to paint their engines and don't have any problems with the heat. It sure beats paying well over $100 for the factory paint, hardener, reducer which most of it would be wasted if you have a small job to do. Give the Ace hardware spray can a try, if you don't like it all you lost was the price of the can of spray paint.
