wandering if anyone knows how to remove the aluminum piece of the steering column, the part that holds the "PRND21" I have removed the bearing and it still won't budge. I need to remove it in order to paint the alum.

been a few years since I did one....I know there is a snap ring, but since you have the bearing out you should have that off already. check the reference section, and check the service manual.
