I"m 56 and looking to get more involved in cars. I recently purchased a 68 Roadrunner and am looking to discuss restoration and general info on Roadrunners. Have loved cars all my life but this is the first time I've taken on the task of restoration.

Welcome to our club and forum.

Welcome to the club.
Welcome to the forum.
You picked a great car.
Not the easiest to restore for a first timer...but a great car none the less.
Now for some reality: It is going to take longer and cost you more than you expect to get it "restored" - whatever that means to you.
Take pictures of everything before you start. Then take pictures as you go. Then take pictures when you complete projects.
Tag and bag everything as you take it apart and keep all of your parts together.
Keep us up on your progress.
Ask anything you like. There are no dumb questions. (except the ones that are not asked)
Please excuse our occasional sarcasm. Sometimes we laugh to keep from crying as our cars we are restoring (and life in general) tests our wills to carry on.
Overall we are a good bunch of guys. (and gals too)
And now you are in the club.

welocome. lots of info here. the factory service manuals (just for '69, this site started as a '69 only)are in the tech section. should still be helpful for a '68. be sure to post up pics of your project.
