Had some snow here this week,nothing on the scale of that lot that hit your east coast though.

is that unusuall for you Steve? I'm a WWll buff, and I have seen pics of the bad winter of '44-'45.It just doesn't seem like I hear about England getting much snow.

Not unusual to get snow, but it seems to rain more than snow in Winter these days.We used to get a lot heavier snowfall when I was a kid,now it's just like a dusting.

I've noticed all the enviromentalists have gone quiet over here for now.They picked the wrong time for the recent conference in Copenhagen on "Climate Change" coinciding with one of the coldest Decembers across Europe.The temperatures have fallen well below freezing for days on end with 50+ people freezing to death in Poland and Ukraine.They'd better make sure the next one is on a hot July day and people might start believing them...........maybe,but probably not.

This is a graph of the world average temp I picked up a few years ago. Like we can control it
