Just a reminder
Sears - Christmas shopping this year. I needed this reminder, since Sears isn't always my first choice. It's amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and Sears hasn't withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year?
What commitment you say? Do you know how Sears treat its employees who are serving in our military? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being on active duty. Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all employees who are serving.

I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears at least once this year. Be sure to find a manager and tell them why you are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement & feedback it well deserves.

Please pass this on . Sears needs to be recognized for this outstanding contribution and we need to show them as Americans, we do appreciate what they are doing for our Military!!! My son worked for Sears last year, and he told me this benefit is true and they are proud of their employees that are in the military.

We have shopped at Sears up here for years. We even have an account there. All of our appliances come for them and I just bought and installed a central vaccum system for our house 3 weeks ago. We have bought everything from them over the years including a snowblower that lasted 20 years. They have a great warranty policy and getting parts for their products is easy. I could even get parts for that old snowblower no problem. Kudo's to Sear's.

I can attest that this Ken. My snowblower from Sears is about 17 years old, still runs well, and I also can still get the few parts I've needed for it.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Nearly 95% of the tools I own come from Sears. Ive been raised on Craftsman hand tools. For my purposes, and that of my father's, Craftsman has always been the best in quality and value.

Guys tell me please what it means :worship: Sears? I do not understand what it is  :brickwall:
If you work for Sears, which is a chain of large department stores. And you are in the military reserves and get sent over seas on active duty, Sears will pay the difference of your lost wages so your family can function and they can pay the bills and mortgage if you have one. The military generally does not pay well.
