My brother Tom(1969X9) and I went to look at my convertible tonight. It's almost ready for paint. He said he'll start putting some color on the underside next week after they work out a couple issues. Won't be long! I've been very impressed the whole way through this restoration with these guys! Very happy with what they've been able to do, especially considering the mess I dropped on them.

It's a brand new car! If AMD made it, I bought it. If AMD didn't make it, I found it. But hey, the firewall, windshield frame, rocker panels, and deck filler panel are still original! But that's about it...

Check out the frame connectors from US Car Tool. They're pretty sweet! Between the frame connectors, new frame rails, and new torque boxes, the vert is stiff!

Here are some pics...

That's a great idea Steve! I just may do that...

This is the 4th 1969 B-body convertible they've done a rotisserie restoration on in the past 5 years. Three RR's and one Coronet.
I really love the full quarters, there is no visible seam. The frame connectors tie things up well, and give the appearance of a full frame. They also did a awesome job on the deck filler panel, as that thing was a mess, and they done repop one for the convertible.

Can't wait to start putting her back together soon! This has been a long time coming! Now for the big decision...flat or shiny stripes! Let the age old debate continue! You and I both know I'll be going flat...

Looks really good and once it's done it will stay done which has to be a nice feeling, are you going full color underneath or gray and color near edges?

Thank you!
I'm going full color R4 paint on the bottom. It's going to look badass with all my pre-bent stainless lines I picked up from Inline Tube. The wheel wells will also get a quick spray over the dampener, as will the interior side of the quarters.

Looks great! I also bought about everything AMD made for mine. Doors back, mine is pretty much all new.

That looks like some good work. Doing it right is the only way, and it will be done right the first time.
