I finally got my 69. I'd post pics on the right forum, but can't figure out how to do it.
I was curious if anyone has any recommendations about a shop & service manual. I notice RockAuto has a CD rom manual @ $24.79 but am thinking a printed manual which is available thru MJL Motorsports @ $69.95 might be a better way to go. I can't find a Chilton manual or any info on the net regarding one. My mechanical ability is limited to my earlier years and know I will need some help with some kind of manual. Can anyone suggest the better way to go or know of a different avenue?
Thanks, trim88

Good morning Trim88
I'd recommend getting the printed service manual
That way you can take it anywhere and look at it, even under the car with you
I have one for each of my 69 and 70 and found the manuals very neccessary during, and after, restoration
The $70 is money well spent
Just my $.02

Thanks 69B5 and Big John for your help. I think I'll buy the 70.00 manual and I'll be able to refer to the world of info on the site which I was unaware of. Thank you much, trim88

What you guys don't know is that we were originally negotiating for Jim to buy my car and then we were going to spring it on you all (no, I'm not kidding either). I was then going to drop some coin on a '68 Coronet R/T I found in PA. As it turns out I think Jim got a better deal on the one he picked up. I'll let Jim fill everyone in on the details if he wants to.
The car he found is an F8 car with a 4 speed - which is why we were talking about my car. According to Jim (hehe) his car has 54,000 original miles and is numbers matching. Sounds like a really nice one.
Welcome to Team Green Jim!
