I like how he cut away two-thirds of the original sheet metal, but left the suspension bump-stop on the driver's side... :basketcase:

VERY ambitious project, I'll give him that... But I'm kinda wondering the same thing that Bob is; why?

I love to see a "lowly" musclecar get a proper resto. Even though most think a 440 4 barrell auto GTX as ordinary, I see a great musclecar. I give props to Donny for saving a great car.

I doubt if anyone on this site thinks that way... GTXs rock. My earlier comments were more related to the fact that less exhaustive projects are still out there...assuming that this car isn't a J code car that is really worth the effort...

I know it can be done, but I don't think I would let this guy work on mine. He will be lucky if this car goes down the road straight. The "jig" he had the car on was not strong enough to keep the car from flexing. Not to mention it was on pneumatic tires. Looking forward to seeing the body gaps on this car when it is done.

That is a real basketcase of a car. All I can say is more power to him for taking on that challenge!
