Thanks,
John
Your guy did it the right way. Most of the Safe-t-cap stuff I have seen slips over the rusted part and gets welded in.JJRJR said:Moparchris, we got new rear frame rails, don't know where he got them from. Just cut them off and welded new ones in. What is saf-t-cap?
Thanks,
John

Would it be cheaper to build a new one than to pay for one that needs rebuilt. I think they make most of the metal to do it now Oh and send me the rest of your retirement money and I can make it disappear like a magician :jester:JJRJR said:Oh, I see. I remember him saying it would be better to get the actual rails. They were pretty far gone, so decided to replace them. At this point, I'm so far into it, I'm just replacing whatever it needs. Just have to postpone retirement for about 30 years. LOL.
