Do you have the clear plastic lens cover over the lamp? Why do I feel like this is the wrong bracket assembly for this year? I have tried all kinds of ways now and there are only two ways it fits one with out the plastic cover or flipped round like I have it now. Is there a similar bracket that looks like these? Driving me nuts now just seems like its either the wrong bracket or wrong lamp cover? Saw these on Jim's but can't tell if which part numbers match which picture? https://www.jimsautoparts.com/lenses.htm

Ok think i FINGERED it out I was mounting the lamp cover wrong should slide through the hole in the bracket right not mount on the opposite side? Looked close at this ebay picture and saw how the mounting

I since switched the big gasket from around the plastic dome to behind it since the OE gasket on the lamp was pretty specific to the base of the lamp and stretching it around the dome didn't make sense or seem right, now it seems rightfully assembled and fits. I would have thought there would be a gasket between the dome and the bracket as the dome slips through the bracket hole. not sure? the dome is just barely touching the bumper, the old one must have had real bad gaskets worn out so it was re mounted smashed into the bumper breaking it. I knew the Chrysler engineers were pretty spot on on these even small assemblies :)

yeah think so. lol something so small and seemingly minor but I'm always on the quest to try to do it OE first before giving up and doing a mod. feels good to get it right.
