Just to say don't know why this happened. Put the Z bar on the door handle to the latch where it is suppose to go. Had to pull down on the latch part to make the connecting ball go into the Z bar. Well the thing was too far down for the lock to work rite. Every time I pushed the door button even though it was locked it would pop the lock. So had to drill it out to a new location. This became an long gated slot so had to grind off the excess and sides so the keeper clip would fit now the hole was still open so had a tip from my sandblaster it is ceramic ground it down to fit the hole then welded up the end. Ground every thing smooth and put it back in. Now it work's fine. I even had one off a donor door and it was the same way. Now door lock's and stay's locked when pushing the door button in. Guess will never know why I had to do this but now it is done.
