I have posted here a few times. I consistently view/search the forum for information and it's appreciated.

Just thought I would post some of what I have done lately. When I get time b/w work, kids and my wife I head to the garage and figure out what I can take apart without destroying. I've secured a number of people that know what they're doing and I should be able to get a lot of the bodywork and paint done for a very decent deal.

Here's where I sit so far:

I also started a blog:

Yup...that's the color. I like it a lot and always have. I have a million ideas for what to do in the end. But, for the most part I plan on keep it stock. I am torn behind doing the Q5 color and something else I want to do. I just need to go see the color in person to truly appreciate it and make a final decision.

The interior will likely be all leather. And as for the engine, there's nothing wrong with it from what I can tell and what I've had others look at. In the effort to save money, I will likely just clean it up and continue to use it.

Any and all suggestions are welcome though.

Looks good Floyd. I vote for the Q5. My dad's runner, which eventually became mine, was Q5. Loved it then and still do.

I really like the Q5. I just felt like there was something missing. I found a really close color that's Gulfstream aqua metallic. But, we will see. I just need to test the color and see it in person.

Here's an example of the gulfstream aqua metallic and a link to the page selling it: http://bit.ly/1fC2cpE.
