Mac & I were there also.
More memorable for me that evening was walking out of the place where they debuted PSP to find Scott of F.A.S.T. fame sitting there in his Rallye Green A12 Runner with the passenger door open waiting for a friend to come out. Seeing my opportunity I hopped in and said "Let's Go!" He was a little bit shocked as I had only met him for the first time earlier that day... BTW that car is a stock stroke A12 that runs 11.75@116.60 with a 1.75 60'. He won the 1/8 mile F.A.S.T. shoot-out at Carlisle that year, taking down Ed Cook and all of the other big-inch boys in the process...

That had a different meaning when I had my first road runner in 1968 :acme:Basketcase said:car whore???

I totally agree with you on this one Ray. We do have a lot of good nature d fun with this. With that in mind, Gee Ray, with that many GREEN cars in your stable, it almost sounds like you want to join the green team!!!!!ACME A12 said:meepbeep69 said:I can't believe that Acme actually sat in one but there it was right before my eyes in print!
Repeat after me: "RALLYE GREEN". I have two F4 cars and my SS/T is Emerald Green Metallic, so I'm not really a "green hater" per se. I'm just not that big of a fan of F8...although if you saw that GTX pic that I posted from Carlisle this year you know that even I make exceptions for Coronet Station Wagon Green...ON OCCASION... :yesnod:
I do enjoy all of the :acme: that goes on with the different "color teams" on here though; I think most everyone does. Certainly adds some harmless fun to the mix, and as long as everyone is having fun with it I don't see it going away anytime soon...
