I just got my Road Runner back from the painter and now I have a huge case of analysis paralysis. Is there a list of nut and bolt sizes for various parts of the car? If I have to buy every freakin bolt from a specialty shop it's going to blow my budget. Let me know if there is such a list.

Thanks!

Bob (hemibeep) showed me a book at Carlisle that should fit the bill - although in the context of our conversation we were focused on the correct plating of each nut and bolt. Eventually I will need to get one of these too. He'll chime in if this is what you need.

If you want to go concourse this is the book to drive you nuts do to detail. Otherwise you can shop the net for bolt and screw packages that are proper or come close. MMC Detroit sell these books and also has a fastener store and I also like Hoover auto parts for odd fasteners. MMC has these books on sale for $79 and you might sweet talk the shipping down who knows. This is the link they do OE judging so they know their stuff http://www.mmcdetroit.com/Market_Place/ The book is about 500 pages.

Thanks for the response! I haven't posted a pic of the RR here it is.

Anyone know what bolt I need to attach the rear bumper bracket to the frame?

Cool another white car! At least it looks white in the pic...

Those MMC guys are awesome. Once you've id'd the fastener, you can also go to RT Specialties. They have lots of other stuff too...clips, small parts, fasteners, etc....

More pics!

You can also go direct to AMK website and hit the Mopar section and buy your fasteners direct from them.

Or Jamie at MEGA parts has almost all you need and very helpful and fast

Oh yea welcome to the site

I ordered a small truckload of pieces/parts/bolts/screws from them when I was putting the Swinger back together when it finally got out of paint jail back in 2003. I'm still waiting for them to show up... :basketcase:
At least he never charged my credit card so I didn't have to fight that battle. But if you ask me I'd say "Thanks, but no thanks!!!"

I have only mail-ordered from them a couple times, and only for small ticket items... Never with an issue, lucky I guess.
Whenever I need a bag of stuff, I always go to their tent at Carlisle. They do seem to carry things that others don't.
Also, another vote for MEGA Parts! Great folks, with lots of stuff.

Thanks for the info Bob. I have a few coffee cans of fasteners taken off various cars in junkyards and I am trying to sort and ID them. I just purchased that manual.
