New striker for hood latch.

Found out the part the striker would mount to on the new hood was 3/8 inch shorter. So got my tools out and made this one. Did have to go to my friends house and have the rod turned down to size. It was 32 thou. bigger. When done bending it in to shape heated it cherry red and dipped it in an oil bath. To harden the steel. Now the hood latches and in the rite position. So here is a few pic's of it mounted. The safety latch is a little off also but can live with it. It work's. So here is a few pic's.
