Ok so I havent been on here for a while. I have an Ipad and Iphone and neither will allow me to upload pictures to this forum. So i decided today being stuck at work to email myself the pictures and post them this way. Im sure that I have posted pictures of works done to the engine bay and the front fenders and since then we have moved back. We took both doors off the car and using paint stripper I was able to get through years of paint and black primer fairly quick. In the picture where it looks like we have a stud welder, its actually a home made trick. For every dent that we found on the door we used stainless nails and I was able to tack weld them into the dent and then we used body hammers to reshape the metal and then broke the weld and ground down and leftovers. Worked beautiful and it was free. The doors had the standard stretched metal where the side mirrors were tightened down way too tight. I also found out that my passenger side door must have been off a GTX or Satellite due to the trim holes on the bottom of the door. I was able to fill all of those with weld. For the bottom edge of each door I sanded, ground and removed as much rust as possible and then used a product called ALL-METAL to smooth out the surface. The doors look great. I also moved to the roof and used paint stripper to remove all of the paint as well. I did the same on the drivers side quarter panel. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we are struggling to find the time to get to things right now, but our main goal is to finally have this car in paint by the end of January...... And I always put a date stamp on things and look back and laugh at how off I was....

Enjoy the pictures....youll get a good glimpse of my 2006 Harley Davidson Softail as well

They are flags that I was able to track down using E-bay. The harley is a lot of fun, keeps me occupied while this car isnt being driven. The paint stripper vapors are rough, I usually call it quits when I cant stand up or see straight haha  .

I love that we are using a small garage, paint stripper and a few 2x4s and clamps as our "metal brakes and english wheels". People always give us a look like  :loco: but quickly turns into  :worship: . We just have to keep at it and hopefully some T7 will be sprayed some day.
