Well, that didnt take long. I sold my '88 Ram to my future brother in law Andrew on Friday. Price was $1000 of which he gave me $500 Friday. We went down to BMV and switched the titles over and he got plates for it. He came back later in the evening with a friend to take it home. The friend wanted to take a spin in the Road Runner, so we did, however Andrew left his phone in the back seat. It wasnt until we woke up on Saturday that Courtney saw several messages from the friend. Apparently on the way home Friday evening the drive shaft snapped and she had to get towed home. Kinda sad seeing her that that... He knew what he was getting though. He just wanted an old truck to beat up...I think he got what he wanted.

Yeah it was. Whole truck is really. Strangely though the frame was still pretty good.

broken driveshaft, you're lucky :D that a truck can include front-wheel drive and go to the nearest service station. :drive:

Hey, JB Weld is good stuff. With careful application it can turn a regular 1970 340 block into a 340 TA block in a matter of minutes... :basketcase:

Nah, My buddy Andy paid big dollars for a legit T/A block for his AAR years ago. I have always teased him that I could have made him one with some JB Weld for a lot less money...just squeeze some JB Weld out of the tube in the shape of a "T" and an "A" right next to the 340 casting and Viola!!!
