Seeing gunnars thread on his old cars I thought I'd show you my old daily driver motors.Been searching through my photo's and here they are in order of ownership:
73 Ford Cortina 2.0 GT.Loved this car,I was 18 and used to think I was Starsky driving this :rolleyes:

That's an interesting mix of cars there Steve. The English Escorts look much different then how they look here.

Was there a US equivalent to the Ford Cortina? It looks rather strange to me. How did/do you fit in those cars Steve, you strike me as a man of tall stature?

I fit into all the cars fine gunnar, only car i could idealy use some extra headroom is the RR :lol:

Yes I do like my Fords Bob :drive:

That '73 Ford looks kinda cool. My terrific neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gavin are from Ireland (he's 83).

I recall him telling me - in his wonderful heavy Irish accent - about the popularity of the 2.0 Fords in his homeland. He's been in the US for a loooong time, but used to visit Ireland often.

This was my "ride" when I lived in the UK. While it is a Rover the drive train was all Honda! In the two years I lived there the only problem I ever had with it was a cracked windsheld (windscreen)!
