I went to the shop today to drop off some measurements for the hood treatment, emblem holes, and spare tire mount. Snapped a couple pics for you picture whores out there.
She's looking smooth! Love the R4 PPG paint. The entire underbody has been painted and masked off so no overspray gunks it up through the body holes, so I couldn't take any pics. It's off the rotisserie. The engine bay is in color. The trunk and guts are next, followed by the deck lid, fenders, doors, and hood. Then the exterior will follow...
I'm really happy with the way things are looking.

I'll just shut-up now and show you the pictures...

Thank you everyone. I will post more pics in a week or two when it has more color.
I will be tearing down the front end and rebuilding with poly bushings and disc brakes. I'm sure I will need a ton of help and advice along the way.
On that note, does anyone have a paint in "natural" and also a paint in the color of cosmoline they would recommend? I want to rebuild the front end to look as close to factory as possible by mimicking the appearance with paint. The K member will be painted, not powder coated.

Here is my inspiration courtesy of Mark Worman from Graveyard Carz (minus the heavy duty tie rods).

AZ Desert,
I used powder coat on the K- frame but its a satin finish which is more correct and they do get dirty so I suggest that over paint. For the gold finish I used a series of paints but I hear the best look now is battery terminal spray like Auto Zone carries. As for natural I used Aervoe engine enamel Cast Iron Gray, And if you need a Cast Iron color I suggest Aervoe Steel Blast, I know it sounds backwards. Also the upper control arm cam bolts should be black phosphate, I re-plated mine before they went in.
