Finally took the time to get through adding some pictures. This is my new car as of a few months ago! 62K miles, 383 4BBL and 4spd. #'s matching motor under a T7 Bronze rotisserie paintjob!

Still tuning the motor a little so any tips are welcome! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

That's great lookin' car. I can't say I've seen one that color before, and I couldn't match it up on my paint chart. What color is it?

Talk about attention! Thanks to all for the comments. To answer a few questions/comments:

1. It's a T7 Bronze on the chart, aka Saddle Bronze. The other pictures are in the shadows, trust me, it sparkles in the sun! (see attached)

2. As for how it runs, I'm suffering from some of the same reported issues that are on many other threads about initial timing being inconsistent, wide vacuum swings when adjusting idle mixture and such. Relatively new and very clean holly carb still doesn't settle it down consistently enough as I've had it apart. I'm likely going electronic soon vs. points. I don't know anything about the motor internals so I'm working my way through options as fast as I can.

3. It runs strong, but smells up the cabin going down the road, any thoughts on typical exhaust leak areas would be great too.

Thanks again gang, I'll try to help where I can too!

Just to clarify, and PLEASE do not think that anyone is being critical - NOT THE CASE - But I think that the reason you were asked about the color is because that's not even close to T7... T7 is MUCH, MUCH darker... I'd be willing to go so far as to say that based on the pictures posted herein that it is closer to T3 even than T5 or certainly T7. Now you better understand why the question about the color. It may be coded for T7, but it doesn't appear to be (at least in these photos - to be clear) painted T7. Doesn't matter - a STUNNING car regardless of whatever paint code that is.

You certainly wouldn't be the first to detect a color variance as the paint technology has evolved over 40+ years...we talk about this all the time on here... :brickwall:

Here is a shot of a car in T7...considerably darker...

Here's a T5 pic just to throw into the discussion...

Just look at any of the pictures of Solid Gold to see what T3 looks like.
