Well just got back from Englishtown for the Musclepalooza XII. Nice event with a show and drags, and today was only open to Mucle Cars. Great showing of RRs; 6 69's of which there were 4 A12s (all real), and 1 Hemi (which was very fast, low 10's). All very nice cars, and great to see them out on the track where they were ment to be, all except an orange A12 which was Perfect..... Lots of head to head RR racing too.... Heres a quick shot, I uploaded a ton more to the following link.......

I left my RR at home, but this made me want to add a few hundred HP and get a new helmet. I know you all love pics so I did lots of snapping today.....

If any of these cars belong to a member here let me know and I can send you all the full size pictures.

Great picture, sure shows weight transfer.

I have a question they actually let you on the track with "hub caps"? Not the RR disc, I know its bolted on, the the RR on the right has dog dishes?

Thanks for sharing. Those FAST cars are just plain bad ass. The 2 black 69's on the track is very cool.

Very small crowd, which was nice for us since this was the first drag racing my kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) have been to so we got to move around the grand stands and go right up to the wall to watch. Some of the open exhaust cars caught them off guard. I dont think watching Pinks, etc prepared them for being right there, but they had a blast.....

The show was ok, some nice stuff, a A12 RR, a 69 RR Conv, and a 68 RR, decent amount of Chargers, overall not as big of a show as I had expected. They didnt have any parts, just a vendor selling diecast, and one selling wax.....

You know I didnt think about the hubcaps at the time, im wondering if he has any mechanism to hold them on.....

That's not just any two black RRs out there...that's Dave Dudek and Ed Cook...the Godfathers of F.A.S.T..... :worship: :worship: :worship:

The Hemi car runs 10.50's and the A12 runs 10.90's...on red lines...

Ray, you need to mention that those speeds are run on Polyglass red lines. The stock tire part of the F.A.S.T. name. No redials run here!!!

I would pay good money to see your Hemi Roadrunner against Dave Dudeks Roadrunner. I just think it would be a good race! Plus its a good excuse to get out to the track. :drive:

Back in 1969 when I replaced the redlines on my RR at 14,000 miles. The guy at the tire store asked me "how did you get so many miles out of them"?

He ran a Stage One Buick in Hot Rod a few months back. It ran a tenth faster. Go figure. Two very different schools of thought.
