Hey guys, I really like the MP Cast Aluminum Valve Covers with Black Wrinkle along with the MP air cleaner cover that matches. Saw a 69 RR with this combo on top of Aluminum heads and looks pretty sweet. First, will these covers work on my Eddy Performer RPM Aluminum Heads and will the Air Cleaner work with an Eddy Performer RPM Alum Intake and Holly 750 sitting on top? Not sure about clearance issues with the cleaner and I've heard the MP valve covers are a bitch to get on/off?

Thoughts?

Thanks

John

As for the valve covers yes they will work. I've got adjustable rockers on mine and have not had a problem R&R'ing the covers. You need to be extra careful though to not strip out the threads on the head Can't say about the air cleaner.

valve covers come on and off just fine
Not mine. I had to play with them to get the right sequence of bolt insertion and tightening to finally get them on. It was a serious PITA. On mine there isn't enough room to get a socket on the bolt head unless you pry on them a little. Major pain.
As for the MP air cleaner assembly, mine touches the bottom of the hood with the supplied air filter due to the Edelbrock Performer RPM intake's height. I use a drop base air cleaner assembly for daily driving and put the MP unit on for static display only.
