I'm going to mini tub my car and was wondering if anyone has any pointers on this, along with some detailed pictures of how they did it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking of using the inner and out wells with a spacer in between to give it a stock look. Any thoughts on this idea?

along with mini-tubbing which i did also for bigger tires in the rear its also a good idea to move the rear springs inboard 3 inches.....they sell a kit for this which relocates the front and rear hangers......read this....http://www.moparts.org/Tech/Archive/rearsusp/6.html

when i did this job you remove the inner wheel housing and split it from the outer....trying to save as much of it as possible...so you have material left to reweld it back in....you also have to cut the trunk hinge hanger as close to the wheel housing as possible for rewelding back in.....figure out where the outboard side of the frame is and lay it out for the inner wheel housing to fit flush with the frame.....cut away ...fab ...and reweld it all back together using a 3 inch plus or minus piece of [ cut a piece from my old quarter panel] metal and tack all in place ...then seal weld it also using seam seal....its quite the job and when i stuffed 31- 16.50/15 tires in there ...wow it looks great

here some pics...

That looks good, Thanks. Thats pretty much what I'm going to do. I like how you cut the lip off of the well and spliced in a peice.

just remember measure twice and cut once....if your moving the springs inboard support the car well and take measurements and layout marks on the floor so you have something to go by and the rear goes in straight.....and pics too
