Roadrunner mechanical work is complete (I hope) and off to paint on Tuesday (again I hope)

I have a little exhaust leak from the the manifold to pipe flange I'll fix before that and a small problem with timing/fuel.

The problem is from a stop to about 2000 rpms. It kinda dies at the very beginning of acceleration then once it gets past the initial start the car runs perfect. If I rev it a little before taking off and keep the rpms up, it takes of like a rocket (so to speak). S we'll work on that as well.

I found a painter local that likes to paint cars that are being restored. He wanted to buy my Roadrunner or trade it for a 1953 pick-up truck that he would completely paint for free.

He is going to take out all the windows, take off the doors, complete all the body work then paint the interior and exterior. After the paint is complete, he'll reassemble the car, install all weather stripping that I will provide and cut and polish for $4500.

He says this is his slow time of year until after the holidays so he will hopefully have the car done by Christmas. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the help,
Barry
