looking for a used manual steering box for my RR.

Sam - maybe take a look at getting one that is already rebuilt and ready to go. The chances of finding a good, used unit just aren't that great. They have moving parts and they wear out. The last thing you want to do is install a used unit only to find out it's too worn and you need to yank it again to rebuild. :cents:

Steer and Gear sells them for $295.00. $195.00 core charge - although they will accept your power steering box as a core for the manual box. If you ordered it now you could pick it up @ Carlisle and save all of the shipping charges - they need at least 30 days advance notice.

Then you'll need the steering column extension so you don't have to change columns.

I agree with Ray for once any used one you get is going to have slop and lots of play
and the seals will be dried up and it will be a leaker

call Steer and gear and get a reman and a firm feel too the car will drive worlds better
