Little Billy was in school and the Science homework was to catch a grasshopper, and pull out one leg and observe what happens. Then pull out another leg, observe and repeat the process until there are no legs left. Little Billy went right into the woods after school and caught a grasshopper and took it home. He pulled off one leg and said "Hop" and it did. He pulled off another leg and said, and it did. He kept going until he was down to the last leg. When he pulled off the last leg he said "Hop" and it DIDN'T. In school the next day, Teacher says "Who wants to tell us about their Science homework ?" Little Billy was wildly waving his hand in the air, so she picked him and asked " Billy, what were your observations ?" Billy said " When I pulled of the first leg, he still hopped. When I pulled off the next leg, he still hopped, but it was a bit more difficult. As I pulled off each new leg, it was harder and harder to hop. And when I pulled of the last leg and said HOP it Didn't. I think after they have no legs, they go deaf." :groucho:
