Anybody know of a custom plate frame manufaturer? I had a search on ebay if a Ralph's Chrysler Plymouth frame from Downey ever came up it would notify me. by accicent I found one that sold on ebay in March ( nice notification). One plus though I now have a picture of the frame, after 10 years of looking I have given up but I contacted a company called auto plates to see about getting a repop made, they will make a flat fram ( like you can get at any car show) but the only way the will make one that looks like the plate frame is if I order more than 50,other than decorating the garage I don't need that many. I thought maybe some one on here had luck with getting a custom frame made. Thanks

E-bay and persistence got me my Bill Luke for my coupe.
Bill Luke is the Dealership where the local Mopar club holds there meetings. Great Grandpa Luke was a WWI Ace and that is who Luke AFB was named after, also the base where our board member Jim S. served. Right Jim!

That's pretty cool, My Grandparents moved to mesa in the 70's, My grandpa had raced alot in the sixties and was a big time Mopar guy anyhow around 1990-ish I had some funding and had him find me a stripped down 69 4-speed coupe which he found I send him money for the car and to tow it to his house, went down there a couple of years later, stomped thru some junkyards has a great time and little did I know it was the last summer he was alive.

FWIW, The Ebay notification expires after a certain period of time. You have to renew it occasionally.

Good news Good news  I searched the net and I found a place that made a proof from the plate frame picture I sent them, not an exact match but very close, and the guy worked with me so I'm happy about that.price 35 bucks but its a custom order considering an original sold on ebay for 146 bucks,35 don't look so bad. :D I'll post a picture when I get it on the car.

Yep, I was there for 1 1/2 years and lived in Peoria Az. We worked on F-15 Bs and Ds which are the two seat planes because Luke was a training base.
Damn that is pretty interesting about how Luke AFB got its name. I didn't even know that. You just won on Jeopardy, Bob... :yesnod:
