Is it possible to miss a car?

Dropped my car off at the body shop last week and I miss it!
It feels like when one of my kids goes to camp. The house feels empty. When the kids are gone, after a couple of days my wife starts with “We should call to see how they are doing” or “I should email so and so, they went with the kids and I’m sure they check email”. I always thought that was excessive and would say “they are fine just chill and lets enjoy our alone time”

Well, the reason I’m writing this is that I know Chris lives in Costa Mesa and that’s where the body shop is. So, Chris if you don’t mind and it’s not too far from your house would you please check on my third child? Maybe take a picture or two? I know it’s only been a week but I’m really not enjoying my alone time.

When the Mystery Car was being worked on I couldn't wait for the weekend to drive to Jason's shop and look her over

Even though I have three cars, when one of them is out of commission for what ever reason, I always wish I had that car to drive. When I had the Road Runner at the shop getting a few things taken care of, and it was gone for almost 4 weeks, I kept wishing it was here so I could take it out for a spin. And I think it's harder to take when there is an empty space in the garage! Yeah, I miss 'em.

I knew I couldn't be the only one out there that thinks too highly of these things. There must be something wrong with everybody, me included.
 
You wouldn't believe how bad it was when I sold mine back in 1988. When I finally got it back in 2000 I was one happy camper! :banana: :banana: :banana:
 
Mine has been in body shop jail going on 5 weeks, This is the first time since 1974 that I couldnt walk out to the garage and see my bird...........out of nest ......sigh

Cool Chris thank you. Please don’t go out of your way to do it. I’m just obsessing on it and I need to learn to chill. I’m planning on taking some time off of work on Friday and going over there to check on progress. Kenny asked who referred me to his shop and I didn’t know your last name so I just wrote down Chris. I let him know that he had done some work for you but I couldn’t remember if he painted your 68 RR or a Chevelle.
 
We just refer to him as Chris, the Rich Saudi Oil Baron... Everyone knows who you mean then... :lmao:
