Everyone wants the horn sound to be right. Right? I heard you can adjust the sound by loosening or tightening the bolt on top of the horn. Did anyone ever do this? On a new horn you would have to break (the seal) on the paint. Any comments? Maybe when you do that you could touch up with the " Testors". (if this is true). Thanks

There is a very small adjuster stud on the horn. Turning in or out will adjust the sound "just right".

Mine sounds right with the car off,its raspy with the car running don't know why,the original horn which was black by the way didn't do this, this horn is a repop I bought at the first Carlise show in 91.
