Paid the balance today for the engine build. I think I'm going to go with the Milidon Oil Pan Kit, someone on this site said they have one that has no clearance issues. I don't think 4 quarts will be enough to keep my baby lubed up while I'm dusting my buddy's Camaro SS. LOL.

I can NOT wait until she's done. Stopped by the body shop today as well and he's getting it set up for media blasting down to bare metal. Looks like I got myself into a full blown rottisserie restoration job.

As it turns out, the block doesn't look to be numbers matching. The engine builder showed me the pistons and they had what looked to be cups or an indentation in them and he said that was a lowere CR than the flats for 10.1. No worries, we're going to bring her up to 10.1 CR with flat tops from Speed Pro.

Also decided that I'll need air conditioning; I am in Florida and it gets hot. The saga continues. . .

Best,

John
